Microchips are everywhere, and they are the building blocks of the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries, two fast-growing fields with so many job opportunities at all levels, from technician to engineer and beyond. At RIT Certified, we believe everyone has the right to education that will lead to jobs, whether college is a part of that or not. We are offering 25 full scholarships for this hands-on experience to learn more about microchips and advanced manufacturing.

Building potential by opening mindsets

The RIT Chip Experience is an opportunity to learn more about microchips and advanced manufacturing. During this summer program, you will spend a week on RIT’s campus deconstructing electronic devices, building prototypes, touring the facilities, and taking field trips to local companies. You'll get the chance to discover what opportunities there are for a future in the microchip industry whether you want to go to college or straight into your career after high school.

What’s included in the scholarship?

Full tuition
$500 stipend per student
Housing and meals
Transportation to and from campus (if needed)
